What each game is about

Every game runs right in your browser on a phone, tablet or computer. Here's what you're getting into before you press start.

Cube Rush

Arcade · Dodger

Pilot a ship through an endless field of tumbling cubes, and do not touch anything. Skimming close past a cube builds your score multiplier, coins fill the gaps, and new ships unlock as your best score climbs. Steer with the arrow keys or A/D; on a phone, hold the left or right side of the screen.

Hyperkeys

Rhythm · Piano tiles

A piano-tiles rhythm game: tap the black tiles before they escape and hold the long ones for the full note. Pick Songs, Endless, Sprint or the Daily challenge, and fill the bar to trigger Hyperfocus for double points. Works with touch, mouse or the D F J K keys.

Play Hyperkeys now →

Racing Thoughts

Arcade · 3D tunnel runner

A 3D tunnel runner where the floor can become the wall. Run on any surface, leap the gaps and ride spinning rings across ten hand-built levels with names an ADHD brain will recognise, like Overthinking and Spiral Down. A/D or arrow keys to steer, Space or swipe up to jump.

Play Racing Thoughts now →

Flappy Jack

Arcade · Flapper

The classic one-button flapper, starring Jack. Tap, click or press Space to flap through each gap, and climb the ranks from Sapling to the legendary Sky Nut. Simple to learn, brutal to master, and perfect for a two-minute brain break.

Play Flappy Jack now →

Perfect Drop

Puzzle · Stacker

A 3D stacking game about timing. A block slides above your tower; drop it, and whatever overhangs gets sliced off. Land dead centre for a PERFECT and chain them for combos and blocks that grow back. One input (click, tap or Space) makes it an easy pick-up.

Play Perfect Drop now →

Dodge

Arcade · Survival

A survival game with one question: how long can you last? Move with WASD or the arrow keys (or drag on touch), hold Shift for precise micro-dodges, and graze danger for near-miss bonuses that boost your multiplier. Every run tracks time survived and your best multiplier.

Play Dodge now →

Wilderness

Arcade · 3D hopper

A 3D road-crossing-style hopper through changing biomes. Each new row is a metre: water, lava and swamp are deadly, while rafts, stones and lily pads are safe, until a pad sinks. Tap to hop and swipe to dodge on phones, or use the arrow keys. Needs WebGL.

Play Wilderness now →

Pulsar

Idle · Clicker

An idle clicker built around one big key. Every press makes FLUX; spend it on upgrades and machines that keep working in the background, keep combos alive, and collapse a run into permanent Stardust bonuses. Progress saves in your browser, so it suits short, repeatable sessions.

Play Pulsar now →

Nutty Run

Arcade · Endless runner

A Saturday-morning-cartoon endless runner. Jump, slide and dodge through shifting biomes, grab acorns, chain combos and try the Daily Run. Spend what you collect on outfits for Jack. Tap to jump on phones; turning your phone sideways gives the best view.

Play Nutty Run now →

Jetpack Jack

Arcade · Jetpack runner

Jack straps on a jetpack and blasts through the lab. Hold to climb, release to dive, thread the hazards, vacuum up coins and dodge the missiles. Missions, upgrades and achievements keep each run fresh. Tap, click or hold Space to thrust.

Play Jetpack Jack now →

Brain Run

Arcade · 3-lane runner

A three-lane runner set in ADHD City. Dodge obstacles like the Procrastination Pile, Notification Wall and Phone Zombie, grab sparks to keep your combo alive, and escape the boss that hunts you down. Swipe or use the arrow keys to switch lanes, jump and slide.

Play Brain Run now →

Jack's Street Sesh

Action · Skate sandbox

A compact 3D downtown skate sandbox. Push the plaza, ollie the stair set, grind rails and curbs, link combos with manuals and hunt 50 Jack tokens. Free Skate, a timed two-minute sesh, Token Hunt and eight missions keep the board rolling.

Why an arcade?

Why quick games can help an ADHD brain

ADHD brains often run on interest, novelty, challenge and urgency more than on importance. When a task feels flat, starting it can feel impossible, and that isn't laziness. It's how motivation and dopamine signalling tend to work for many people with ADHD.

  • A short, bounded hit can help you shift gears. A two-minute round gives the brain the quick feedback it's craving, then ends on its own.
  • Games make a good reward. "One round of Flappy Jack after I answer three emails" turns a boring task into a deal your brain can take.
  • Fidget for your hands, rest for your head. Simple one-button games can be a calm-down tool between heavy tasks, like a stress ball with a high score.
  • Playing on purpose beats doom-scrolling. A game has a clear end; an infinite feed doesn't.

These games are for fun and awareness, not treatment. If focus or motivation is getting in the way of your life, a professional who understands ADHD is the right person to talk to.

Play kindly

Five ways to play without losing the afternoon

  1. Set a timer before you start. Ten minutes is plenty. Hyperfocus is real, and so is "just one more run".
  2. Decide what comes next. Say it out loud: "After this round, I'm starting the laundry." Your future self will thank you.
  3. Stop at a natural break. Game over is a gift. Take it as your cue instead of hitting retry on autopilot.
  4. Mind the senses. Most games have sound and music toggles. Turn them off if noise tips you into overwhelm.
  5. Rest your eyes. Look at something far away for 20 seconds every 20 minutes, and drink some water.

FAQ

Arcade questions

Are the games really free?

Yes. Every game in the Dopamine Arcade is free to play. The arcade is supported by ads and by people who buy our ADHD planner.

Do I need to download anything or make an account?

No. The games run in your browser, and there's nothing to install and nothing to sign up for. Your best scores and unlocks are saved on your own device.

Do they work on my phone?

Yes. Every game supports touch, and most also work with a keyboard. A few (Wilderness, Racing Thoughts, Perfect Drop and Jack's Street Sesh) use 3D graphics, so they run best on a recent browser. Some feel bigger with your phone turned sideways.

Why is it called the Dopamine Arcade?

Because ADHD brains love a quick, clear reward. We built a corner of the site where that's the whole point, with a friendly reminder to set a timer.

How do the leaderboards work?

Some games show a top score. Names on the boards are plain text, there are no profiles, and your own best is always saved in your browser even if the score server is unreachable.
